*This post features an advertorial from Kiehl’s & gifted product

Here’s a fun little story. When I was in Kiehl’s* a few weeks ago picking up yet another bottle of their Centella Sensitive Facial Cleanser*, I saw that the guy in front of me was buying THREE BOTTLES OFF THE SAME STUFF. I couldn’t help but admire his dedication to the cause, so we shared a brief cleanser love-in and then I raced back to the display to pick up another bottle. Kiehl’s is a brand that does that kind of thing to people. It’s the one brand that my friends, family and even my Mum who isn’t exactly into the beauty ‘thang‘ all adore. They each have their favourites that they come back to time and time again (it’s the Clearly Corrective Brightening Moisture Treatment* that my Mum loves incase you were wondering).

So I come today baring good news for friends, family members, my Mum and all the other Kiehl’s lovers out there, to inform you that if you spend £50 or more at Kiehls.co.uk*, then they will throw FOUR complimentary samples into your order, along with a FULL-SIZE Hand Cream too. I KNOW. Just add in the code ‘ANNA‘ at checkout. Read on for all the details of what you get in your complimentary bundle and mine and Mark’s (!!!) edits of what we’d recommend adding to your basket…

THE KIT THAT’S YOURS WHEN YOU SPEND £50…

The show-stopper in the kit has to be a full-size of the Kiehl’s Richly Hydrating Hand Cream in Coriander*. Lightly scented, with maximum moisture-giving power and minimal greasy feels, it’s such a crowd-pleaser whether you fancy keeping it for yourself, or gifting it for the festive season.

Also added to your delivery when you use the code ‘ANNA‘ will be four complimentary samples; featuring a mini of the Ultra Facial Cream*, Glow Formula Skin Hydrator*, Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Herbal Concentrate* and Midnight Recovery Concentrate*. Dinky and sample-size, they are perfect for travel or just trying something new. Personally I keep all little containers like this and just refill them up whenever I go away! You’ll read below about the two cream moisturisers as they are a favourite of Mark and I’s – HELLO DEWY SKIN – but the two oils aren’t to be missed either. The Midnight Recovery Concentrate is a classic and a favourite of my mate Mel (HI MEL!), and the Herbal Concentrate is a newer launch from Kiehl’s and great for those who are struggling with blemishes and stressed skin. Both have such a light feel to them and are great for those who think that oils just aren’t their thing. Prepare to eat your words. Promise!

WHAT TO BUY FROM KIEHL’S

THE SPF EDIT: Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream SPF 30* + Kiehl’s Ultra Light Daily UV Defence SPF 50* = £52.50. I’m sure if you’ve heard me talk about these two products before?! I jest, I jest. These two products are my SPF BFF’s that I’ve used for years. The SPF 30 is what I use every morning; come rain or shine. It reacts so brilliantly with my sensitive skin and acts just like your usual moisturiser, but with added protection. I take a big dollop, massage it into my face, neck and chest and then dive straight in with makeup. If I’m on a hot holiday, or during the sunnier months I use the SPF 50, which is a little lighter in texture which works well with my extreme sweat levels. I don’t think I’ll ever be without these two in my stash.

THE ‘ANNA’ EDIT: Kiehl’s Centella Sensitive Facial Cleanser* + Kiehl’s Centella Sensitive Cica-Cream* + Kiehl’s Glow Formula Skin Hydrator* = £96. Ah this was an easy edit to make; featuring products that I use every single day. The cleanser is my GO TO. I’ve been through about three bottles of the stuff already and have another two ready to go just incase. It’s the *perfect* cleanser that makes my skin feel clean and soft, but never, ever dry. The Cica-Cream is something that I use on dry areas of my body like my ears, knees, lower legs and elbows, although I do use this on my face too if I’ve been out in the cold and wind and my cheeks are red raw – it does a fab job of calming them down. The Glow Formula is a first for Kiehl’s as it’s kind of a skincare/makeup hybrid. It works so well as a sheen-giving primer, but I do always reach for it on no-makeup days too to give a little more ‘oomph’ to my complexion.

THE ‘MARK’ EDIT: Kiehl’s Facial Fuel No-Shine Lip Balm* + Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve* + Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream* = £70. I quizzed Mark on why this trio comes up trumps for him and he immediately started to sweat. ‘No strong aromas‘ was praise that he gave to all three products and he tells me that he likes them because they last long time and he doesn’t need to re-buy them often. WIN. He enjoys the lip balm because it lasts well; he only puts it on in the morning and likes that it’s in stick format. The hand cream isn’t too thick or thin and he loves the fresh scent. The Ultra Facial is something that he’s been using for years, stating that his skin just drinks up the stuff.

THE BODY EDIT: Kiehl’s Made For All Gentle Body Cleanser* + Creme de Corps* = £56. I love me a gigantic shower gel and a bottle of this one lasts me months. It’s a good’un that can be used for all the family and is fully biodegradable. It cleanses the body, face and hair if needed and does so whilst never aggravating the skin. Slap on some of the *cult classic* body moisturiser once you’re out of the bath or shower and you’re basically J.Lo at that point. I take this stuff away with me whenever I go on a hot weather holiday because it nourishes the limbs without ever feeling claggy and thick and leaves such a gorgeous sheen to the skin.

So pick your bundle (or go off piste if you fancy!), and be sure to grab yourselves some of the cutest beauty miniatures I’ve seen at Kiehl’s* NOW, just remember to use the code ‘ANNA‘ at checkout…
