The Weekend Post #17: Sunday Shampoo

a

Is there a more appropriate day to write about this shampoo? No, I think not! I asked you guys for your clarifying shampoo recommendations and a ridiculous amount of you suggested the Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo. I have been using it for the past two Sundays, I’m due to use it again today, and I can say already it’s going to be a repurchase!

Formulated to remove product residue, hard water minerals, pollutants and general hair greasiness, this super clarifying shampoo leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean. I don’t use a lot of product in my hair but it does get quite greasy quickly and since using this I have been able to wash my hair only twice a week which would have been unheard of before. I wash it once on a Sunday with this and then midweek with the Phyto Volumising Shampoo and my hair feels great, no more of this washing it once every two days business! I was in love with the Boots Expert Anti Build-Up Shampoo, but I find when using the Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo I need to use much less product. A 50p-sized blob does my whole bonce. Although the Boots one is about a quarter of the price so is definitely one I’d recommend if you fancy saving a few pennies. The only peeps that should steer clear of this are those with colour treated hair, but if your hair is looking a little lank or looking dirtier quicker than usual then a rinse with a clarifying shampoo at the weekend should sort you out!

I got my bottle from the Bumble and Bumble website, which I would highly recommend. When you spend over £25 you get free delivery which was really fast, so I also picked up the cult favourite Surf Spray plus you get to pick a complimentary free sample; I went for a 50ml tube of their Deeep Repair Masque so I’ll let you know how that goes. The Sunday Shampoo retails for £15.50 and as I use such a small amount on a weekly basis I can see the bottle lasting me a fair amount of time. I must do an upated haircare routine soon as I have been using some seriously wicked stuff recently! What are your thoughts on Bumble and Bumble products? I have always been rather impressed! I think their Volumising range might be next on my list!
