Nails Inc Event

I’m a bit behind on this one, not up to my usual ‘post the day after’ standard but I’ve had a rather busy weekend ‘up North! So last week I got to attend the Nails Inc preview which gave a little sneak peek into the Nails Inc crystal ball as we got to see their upcoming launches! You guys know I am a little Essie obsessed at the moment but I will always count the limited edition shade ‘London’ from a collaboration that Nails Inc did with Diet Coke as one of my favourite shades, and I have to say that since last week Nails Inc has proudly adorned my nails!

To say that Nails Inc have a pretty busy schedule for the upcoming months is a bit of an understatement! This month sees the launch of two of the brightest collections of the year;  an ‘in yer face’ Neon range and the slightly more wearable Juicy Sheer collection which  leaves the nails with a gel-like vibrant fuchsia or orange finish. Also out on the market already is their Nail Jewellery range; a collection of four glitter polishes containing hand cut particles of shimmer creating faceted fragments that dazzle on the nail and look great over  darker polishes. The founder of Nails Inc, Thea Green, who I got to have a quick chat with and was an absolute babe, was wearing the diamond shade Burlington Arcade over Black Taxi and it looked pretty darn awesome! I’ll be trying it out over the lilac-grey Porchester Square when I have a spare minute this week.

In June, for the largest sporting event of the year Nails Inc are releasing a metallic range featuring a gold, silver and bronze shade. Although metallics aren’t really my thing, the bronze shade Horseguard’s Parade had an almost rose-gold quality that I know will appeal to some of you. Also in June comes probably the most exciting launch of them all, the Sprinkles Collection. Out to rival the sugary sweet Ciaté Caviar Manicure, these polishes are packed with mattified glitter particles to create a unique sprinkle effect and give an opaque finish in only two coats. I was lucky enough to have my nails painted with the appropriately named ‘Sweets Way’ – a pale blue with blue, pink and white glitter. A complete change from my usual neutrals, but one I liked, although my nails are still weeping from the 20 minutes it took to remove!

So there you have it, a quick peek into the Nails Inc crystal ball – you like what you see? What’s your favourite Nails Inc shade? Aside from the limited edition London shade, I think Porchester Square would be my top polish!
