Omorovicza Discovery Set

I think I’ve got a new tagline for this blog ‘Vivianna Does Makeup – living off beans and toast and excessively buying beauty so you don’t have to‘. Or something like that, it’s a work in process but a thought spurred on by a recent ridiculous, ridiculous purchase – Omorovicza’s Discovery Set. Now I love a little try-me set, they’re a great way to have an intro to a previously untouched brand and my justification for this purchase went down that route exactly. By giving their core collection a go I’ll drop you a tip-off if there’s anything worth emptying your wallets for, cause I’m nice like that.

My relationship with Omorovicza thus far has been brief; I gave the Complexion Enhancer a whirl a few years back and wasn’t bowled-over, but I’ve got higher hopes for their much-coveted and raved-up skincare line. The set includes travel-sized dinky versions of their three pillared routine: two tubs of their Thermal Cleansing Balm, a bottle of the Illuminating Moisturiser, Queen of Hungary Mist (doesn’t that sound glam?) and their Rejuvenating Night Cream. I’ll submit a follow up report when I’ve test driven the trio and I have to say I’m looking forward to this one.

If you’re as nutty as I am, I purchased this stellar skincare set from Cult Beauty but clickers beware the Omorovicza page is awfully tempting, especially if you’re fresh from watching the Caroline Hirons x Pixiwoo video. Don’t. Do. It.

  • I do love a mini set, such a good way to try new brands. The Caroline Hirons and Pixiwoo video was dangerous, my notes list has suddenly tripled in length!

I’m a little obsessed with buying discovery sets too Anna so I’m happy to not be alone in this one! Looking forward to hearing you thoughts.

  • Never tried this brand before, we’re looking forward to hearing a review on these things 🙂 xx

  • Haha I’m excatly like you and I drive my boyfriend crazy as I only spend my money on beauty products or shoes! I’m such a bad “housewife” haha. xD

I think it’s Queen of Hungary as opposed to Queen of Hungry… that would be me 🙂

  • My husband bought me this set the other week and it’s amazing. I think my favourite is the night cream!

  • Maddy Cane

Looks like an amazing starter set! I would love to try it! xxx

  • Oh god I want it, if it was half the price I would have snapped it up. I’m desperate to try the Deep Cleansing Mask!

  • I tried a starter kit from Sephora, and I must (grudgingly) admit that these products are seriously good. My skin reached the perfect balance of hydration and breakouts were reduced. Cleansing balm removed all makeup.

My kit came with the balancing moisturizer, which I think is my all-time favorite light-weight lotion.

I’d love to try some stuff from Omorovicza because I never have before but I’d better get saving up first! Sample sets are a great way to try new products though so perhaps I should buy one of those 🙂

omg I just saw the price of this! I will just have to live vicariously through your purchases 🙂

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Love the new tagline – think it’s perfect! Try me sets can be a mixed lot – some duds so you’re glad you didn’t buy a full size. But more often than not there is more than one of the try me’s that I want in full size!!! I’d love to try Omorovicza but am afraid that I would fall head over heels in lurve! That’s why I don’t even try some brands. I have a family & they occasionally want to eat & all that stuff! (tongue in cheek here) And the bank doesn’t seem to want bottles of goodies to pay the mortgage either.

I love experimenting with different beauty products and recommending them to my friends and family.

I’m a huge fan of using natural ingredients for my skin. I usually go online to look for natural mask recipes from beauty blogs like yours. I want to learn more about making natural masks by myself at home. However, how would i know which fruit/honey/yogurt is good for the skin? And how would I know how many of each ingredients i should add into my homemade face mask?

When you write a post about a specific beauty product, do you describe the effects based on your feeling and visual outcomes after using it? If so, how many times you use it before you recommend it to your followers?

I’m very curious on how do beauty bloggers get inspired and generate their ideas. I’m looking forward to your reply.

    Thank you very much! 🙂

    Kind Regards,

    Jade Chin

The rejuvenating night cream is amazing, it transformed the look and texture of my skin in under a week of using it.

Uh oh, I’ve watched the Caroline and pixiwoo video. I’ve been doing it all wrong! I feel like I’ve been told off from her for using micellar waters and wipes. Need to revisit my skincare drawer and get down to business
