So today I am off to California for a week! SQUEAL. I’m off to L.A and Coachella with Kiehl’s which I am so ridiculously excited about it. Me? At Coachella? I know! Time to shake off the Grannie vibes, dust off my denim shorts and pack anything with tassels on. I’m vlogging away so I’ll share the sights and sounds of Palm Springs next week along with something stylish and a haul because you know I’m going to be sniffing out a Sephora a mere couple of hours after we land. Screw sleep – I’ve got half a case to fill. Speaking of which I thought I’d let you in on what my shopping list looks like so far and if you have anything to add then comment away…
Firstly I’ve got the ‘Friends & Family’ purchases which so far consist of the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner for my mate Lucy and the Elizabeth & James Nirvana White Perfume for my friend Mel’s Mum who is literally obsessed with this scent. I also have no doubt that Lily will want in on any liquid lipstick purchases I make so I’ll keep her in the loop with what’s making it into my basket and if I spot the Oscar Blandi Texture & Volume Spray I’ll pick her up a bottle because I know it’s her fave.
One of the brands that I’m most excited to have a swatch-a-thon with is Anastasia Beverly Hills because they now finally stock the full range in Sephora. WHOOP. Before it was all about the brows and now we’re talking the whole face. If I don’t walk away with at least one colour of the Liquid Lipstick then I’ll eat my cowboy hat. Brand-wise I’m also feeling a bit hot for Ouai which I’ve heard nothing but good things about. Being a texturising spray lover, of course it’s their Texturising Hair Spray that I’m planning on bringing home.
There are always a few items that have been released in the U.S but haven’t made it to U.K shores yet, so I’m planning to eye up the Bumble & Bumble Surf Foam Spray Blow Dry and the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blushes which just look gorgeous. There is one random thing that’s been making me laugh when I peruse the Sephora website and that’s the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. It’s the name. It gets me every time! Apparently it smells like holidays to the extreme so if I see it, I think I’m going to have to give it a sniff.
