FOTD – Pink Lippie!

So aside from the new addition of ‘The Weekend Post’ series to my blog, I thought about making something else a more regular feature – Face Of The Days! Or ‘FOTD’s as they are more widely known 😉 Aside from Monthly Favourite’s posts or videos, these are my absolute fav to read! It’s always nice to know what products people are using and loving, but it’s one step better to see how they actually look on their face, right? I’m aiming for 1 a week, now don’t get too excited here as I’m sure you will be seeing my 6am face a lot, and I’m warning you it ain’t pretty 😉 I took this picture last week when I still had my fluttery Benefit Semi-Permanent Lash Extensions in (post to come soon), but I’ve pretty much been wearing the same makeup since, so……

The Makeup Store Lipstick in Pretty Baby 

Oh dear, how very pouty and one emo eye of me 😉 Oh well – it was the lip colour that I want to show off the most 🙂 This is one that I lusted after for ages, fought to get my hands on it and then never really use (story of my life). But it is BEA-utiful and I’m so happy that I have started to use it again. The Makeup Store is a brand that is pretty hard to find in the UK, and I got this from their Westfields Shepherd Bush store – I did a huge post on it ages ago. Back in the day I used to go for more cool toned pinks like MAC Snob, cause that is what all the kool-kids wore, but I soon realised that they looked pretty horrendous with my skintone and now I go for more warm or neutral toned lippies like this one. It has quite a satin to matte finish, and if you ever stumble across a Makeup Store shop then I highly recommend popping this in your basket 🙂 The other makeup that I am wearing is this post is also becoming a bit of a staple for me – especially the Jemma Kidd Light As Air foundation. I love it! I will definitely do a whole post on it soon, but it seriously has shot up to the number 1 spot in my foundation league 😉 Hmmm a ‘Foundation League’ perhaps an idea for another post, would you like to see that?
