Today I have been getting seriously into the Christmas spirit; seeing family, wrapping presents and I even managed to squeeze in filming some videos for you which will be up on the channel soon 😉 I am sooooo excited that it is Christmas Day tomorrow, both me and all my family have got a lot of time off of work so we have lots of time to enjoy watching some rubbish Xmas TV, playing card games (I am secretly a card shark) and scoffing down homemade chocolate truffles – best times ever! To visit the fam today I went for an uber simple makeup look, and tried to attempt some ‘eye-opening’ tricks for a change….

Of course the ‘base’ of my makeup is the usual – a mix of Jemma Kidd, Bobbi Brown and NARS. However for the eyes I tried something different, mascara on my bottom lashes! I know – hold the phone! I’ve had the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara for a while now, but dismissed it as something that wasn’t really for me. But in my quest for big puppy-dog eyes I thought I would give this a go, and I have to say I actually quite like the result. The combination of that with my MAC Chromographic Pencil and the Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow in the inner corners really helped to open up my eyes, and is a trick that I could well see me using everyday 🙂 Right ladies, I guess that wraps this post up!
