A New CHANEL Foundation & My Current YouTube Favourites

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. I Was on The Lively Show! It happened well over month ago now and I don’t think I’ve mentioned it around these parts, but my episode on The Lively Show with the serious babe Jess Lively is live. If you’d like to hear about how I got into this whole blogging shebang and my top video making and beauty tips then have a listen here. Thanks for having me on the show Jess!

2. A New CHANEL Foundation? I’ll bring you more deats as soon as I have them, but CHANEL Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation is coming January 2016 and I’m way too happy about it already (picture taken from Lily Pebbles – thanks LP!). CHANEL make what is probably my all-time favourite foundation formula and with the phrase ‘Healthy Glow‘ in the name I have some seriously high hopes for this one. It’s time to get excited people.

3. Speaking of CHANEL, Here’s The Prettiest Palette of Them All. Have you seen this? The CHANEL Signe Particulier Quadra Eyeshadow might just be the prettiest makeup release I’ve seen all season. Released as part of the Rouge Noir Absolutement collection that I posted about here, it doesn’t seem like the easiest to find in stock, but it’s a fab holiday palette that can be paired up to create everything from a subtle wash of taupe to a full-on warm-toned lid look.

4. MAC x Dita Von Teese. I haven’t been that into MAC’s new releases recently, but my ears pricked up when I heard about this one. Dubbed ‘the perfect red‘, Von Teese Lipstick looks like a vivid tomato rouge and with a matte finish I think I might just have to add it to my basket. Has anyone got their hands on it yet? Is it worth the splurge?

5. Who I’m Currently Watching on The ‘Tube. I have two current YouTube crushes that I’ve been working my way through their back catalogue of videos – MakeupTIA and Mademoiselle. If you’re into über relaxing beauty and planning videos then Ashley from MakeupTIA is your gal and if you like capsule wardrobe and minimalist beauty then check out Jamie-Lee who runs Mademoiselle. Both cool chicks who make beautiful videos.
