It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:
1. Louboutin Lipsticks. The newest launch from Louboutin Beauté has been doing the blogger rounds on Instagram and I must admit it’s making me quite hot under the collar (have a peek here). I need another lipstick like I need a hole in the head, but look at those colours and the packaging – OH THE PACKAGING! I haven’t tried anything from the range before, but I think that’s about to change…
2. Little Drop, Lots of Pigment. So I got round to trying the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops that I’ve been banging on about and you know what? They’re really rather fab. I like it mixed in with a BB or Tinted Moisturiser or just using the smallest, tiniest amount as a concealer. For such a high-coverage item I’m surprised by how natural it looks on the skin and how un-matte it feels. FYI N20 is a great match for me.
3. The Dreamy Nail Kit. You know when you buy a set of nail polishes and there are always one or two colours that you don’t care for and never end up getting used? Well you’re not going to have that problem with the Soigné Ajaccio Gift Set. How gorgeous are these? There’s a pistachio shade, a mint and a lavender and when I first got it I genuinely pondered for a long while what colour to paint on first. Side note: pistachio.
4. Chia OR China? Not being a Chia Seed lover when my Dad saw my most recent clothing purchase, he thought that it was supposed to say ‘CHINA’ across the front. Dads, eh? I picked it up from SeaSoul & Snow and despite the slow shipping, I actually really like the wide neck cut and the light fabric means I’ve got a lot of use out of it on the cooler summer days.
5. Speedy Makeup Rules. Despite moving in a fair while ago now, Mark and I are only just getting to the point where we own a sofa and now only 75% of our possessions are still boxes. Still to unpack and find a home for is my makeup which is why I’ve been keeping things very simple with my beauty routine recently. Speedy makeup RULES, so expect to be seeing reviews on what’s been in my one and only makeup bag over the next few weeks and in the meantime I’ll continue counting down the days till my storage arrives.
