The Beach House Nail Polish & Eat. Nourish. Glow.

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. Eat. Nourish. Glow. Amelia Freer’s work had been on my radar long before the Sam Smith rave that caused her new book to sell out, but because I was dragging my heels in buying it, I had to wait for the restock before I could finally get my hands on it.  Let me tell you – it is well worth the wait and is my current bedtime read that I end up reading out long snippets of to poor Mark. Full review in the works…

2. The Nail Polish That I STILL Can’t Stop Wearing. It’s official, I just can’t stop wearing Barry M’s Speedy Quick Dry Nail Polish in Eat My Dust and this week my love for it went one step further when I found a beach hut with doors that matched this baby blue hue. Gorgeous.

3. A Pop of Turquoise. When it comes to colour, I can always ease it into my makeup look with the use of a vibrant eyeliner. It’s a step that for the most part I can handle in most shades of the rainbow. Right now, I’m feeling turquoise – eyeshadow or pencil – I’m not fussed. Right now it’s the Max Factor Excess Longwear Eyeliner in Aqua that I’m scribing on the most.

4. Laura Mercier’s New Foundation Launch. I must admit that I’ve never used the oft-raved about Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation and for fans of the product, you might wish to note that it’s been repacked, slightly renamed and now has a moisturising formula option that’s just been released. The new one is called the Silk Creme Moisturizing Photo Edition Foundation and having given it a swatch in store it’s pretty darn beautiful. Once I’ve worked out my shade a purchase is most definitely on the cards.

5. & Other Stories Is Amazeballs Right Now. It really is. The spring stuff is just something else. There are flattering cuts, sheer fabrics and all for a COS-like price tag. My only wish was that there were more stores as the online shop isn’t the easiest to navigate. My top pick is a blouse that Mark likes to call my ‘Austin Power’s top’ with flared sleeves and a high frill neck. Groovy baby.
