It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:
1. Copper Colours. I’m continuing on my love affair with the red toned end of the brown eyeshadow family and right now I do love a bit of copper on the lid with not much else. Shades that are particularly floating my boat include the rusty shimmer from the Smashbox Double Exposure Palette and the more orangey terracotta colour from Kat Von D’s Monarch Palette.
2. Amy Poehler is My New BFF. Please? In recent weeks if I haven’t been watching Parks & Recreation, then I’ve been reading Amy’s book,’Yes Please’ or googling her. Stalker much? How great is she? I wish that Tina, me and her could just hurry up and be BFF’s already.
3. Yes I’m Still Going on About that Mask. The Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask is still ruling the roost when it comes to my skincare routine. If you missed out on my rave-a-licious review then check back here because it seriously is awesome. There’s just no other way to put it.
4. Hourglass Take Eyeshadow to the Next Level. Well these new to-be-released palettes are kind of breathtaking. Trust Hourglass to elevate the stereotypical eyeshadow palette, say screw it to the usual pans and produce a continous wave of ever-changing colour in a compact that looks simply stunning. There are all the deats here, thanks to Temptalia., though the reviews are mixed. What you thinking?
5. xoVain is Seriously Such a Good Read. It never disappoints. Whenever I want some frank and funny beauty advice this is where I head to. If you’ve never visited this part of the interwebz before then I highly recommend you head in that direction right away. Go, go go!
