You know me when it comes to facial toners and hydrating spritzes – I’ve tried them all – and although there have been some that I’ve liked, there’s been every few that I’ve truly loved, until now. Say hello to the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner, the post-cleanse step that I’ve been using in my routine for the past month or so and absolutely bloomin’ loving. Its recommended use is to be dolloped on a cotton pad and swiped all over the face, a method that I have used in a long while, but I’m enjoying going back to my toner roots.
Here’s the thing, it is a gorgeously gentle toner. It’s alcohol-free and feels almost serum-like. It’s hydrating, but not in a greasy way and it just makes my skin feel refreshed. It also doesn’t break the bank at £15 for a 250ml bottle. Not bad, not bad. It’s one of those formulas that I can just imagine is an all-round people pleaser as there’s just not much to dislike about it. Oily skins will appreciate the fresh feeling and dry skins will like the fact that it feels more like a serum step. There will definitely be another bottle of this in my routine when this badboy runs out…
