Delicious Books & Dream Palettes

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. My One-Stop Toiletries Roll. One day I’ve got to get round to showing you this. I’ve managed to get all my hair/skin/body-care bits into one handy toiletry roll and it’s so convenient I can literally whip this out from under my bed and pack it into my bag and know that I haven’t forgotten anything. Streamlining at its finest if I do say so myself.

2. The Matte Lover’s Dream Palette. I think this palette has actually cropped up in my dreams along with Ryan Gosling and pizza in a context that I don’t really want to go into right now. But in all seriousness the Tarte Tartelette Palette contains 12-shades of matte goodness that already has the colour combinations handily laid out for you. It doesn’t get easier than that.

3. Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation. Will I ever stop raving about this skin-perfecting, everyday-appropriate, long-lasting, perfect colour-matching foundation? I think not. I’ll crack it out in a video soon. But if you wanted to know what’s been on my face everyday for a past few weeks – it’s this.

4. A Book That’s Seriously Delicious. It’s aptly called Deliciously Ella by Ella Woodward and it’s seriously crammed with tasty, but easy to rustle up dishes. Again it’s one of those books that’s so hunger-making you get to the end before you realise that meat didn’t even make one appearance and it’s wordy too so a good one to keep on your nightstand so you can dream up your menu for the next day.

5. The Blemish-Busting, Karma-Fighting Mask. Just before #BeautyChatLIVE began the world’s largest spot set-up residence right in the centre of my forehead. It was so large that every time I leaned forward it pulsed and I felt like my head may explode. Although it took a fair amount of time to pack-up and leave the Aesop Chamomille Concentrate Anti-Blemish Mask did a good job of putting a stop to the ‘throbbing’ phase. Coincidently this spot arrived the day I posted my ‘I’ve got blemishes down’ post. Karma or what?
