Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Enamel in Turquoise Block

A colour on my tips that isn’t of orange tinged red decent? I know, am I feeling ok? But after spotting an eyewatering shade of aquamarine on Lisa Eldridge’s nails in her latest video offering I was inspired and riffled through my collection in search of something similar. And here’s what I came up – Bourjois’ 1 Seconde Nail Enamel in Turquoise Block*.

And what a beaut does this look on the nails? A pumped-up Essie’s Mint Candy Apple with not a hint of pastel about it, just an unapologetic hit of ‘can’t stop staring at it’ turquoise. Colour well and truly fallen head over heels for, it’s the formulation that really steals my heart. This stuff delivers opaque coverage in one coat. Yep, seriously. Now I slicked on two coats this time, but I had a little time on my hands. All served on a slightly softened at the edges square brush; I don’t think I’ve ever been able to lacquer a colour on so accurately. £5.99 from Boots, I’ve already picked up another  shade. #SorryImNotSorry.
