They See Me Haulin’

It’s been a while since I unloaded the contents of my shopping bags in full view of YouTube – last September in NYC was the last time I took part in such activity – so today I thought it was about time I revisited one of my favourite videos to film (for obvious reasons). There’s a smorgasbord of bits including a fair few items basketed in the beauty hall at Selfridges, a mini Boots raid and wait for it….Tom Ford. Oh yes, I was feeling particularly spendy that day. It’s stuff collated from weeks of traipsing around London, but still it’s on the rather large side. I’ve even thrown in a not-so-satisfactory purchase, just balance out all the doe-eyed looks that are going on in this video. It may be time to hide your bank cards…

  • So may fantastic goodies! That Aesop mask is on my wishlist as well and the Tom Ford lippie looks gorgeous! I have one TF lipstick (in True coral, a bright orange red) and I love it! Sorry to hear you didn’t get on with the Sunday Riley products- I’ve been sampling Good Genes and also found that it irritated my face.

I went shopping today and bought a lot of high end products, and had written in my notebook for the next haul I do to be called “They See Me Haulin’.” I posted it a few hours ago and have just seen that your video/post was called the same thing! Hopefully people don’t think I’d copied you haha. Love the video as always πŸ™‚ Emma x

Love your makeup in this video. You were right, I had to hide away my card, the urge to shop just grew inside of me. I shopped a lot in the weekend because of the sales, and now I feel like doing a haul video too, inspired by you. πŸ™‚

I initially had similar reaction to Good Genes and stopped using it (I have very sensitive and fairly dry skin) Then I decided to give it another try (just because I spent so much money on it…), and instead of leaving it on overnight I started using it like a mask (one pump mixed with 1-2 pumps of Ceramic Slip cleanser) for 10-15 minutes. That gave me great results, and I slowly worked my way up to using it 4-5 nights a week and being able to leave it on overnight. It took me about 6 weeks to get there, but I have to say that it improved my skin dramatically. It’s soft and glowy, and any old acne spots I had are fading away much faster.

Oh that’s such a shame you had such a bad reaction to Good Genes. I usually am in complete agreement with you on every product that you reveiw/chat about but this might be my first difference of opinion. I am obsessed with GG, it has changed my skin for the better in every way. It’s made my skin look airbrushed before even adding makeup. Must be something you are allergic to ? I love Aesop Chamomile mask. Sometime if I have a pesky spot I dab a little on it and use it as an overnight treatment. Clears up the spot like nothing else.

Good genes made me break out! I was so disappointed!

  • PeonyandPeach

Can’t wait to hear how you get on with that Aesop mask, I was considering buying the parsley seed one but I think I’ll wait till you’ve reviewed this one to see which to get!

  • I really want one of those Tom Ford lipsticks. Just for the packaging.

  • Strawbry_Blonde
