The Week #17

The Week in Instagram @ViviannaMakeup:  Playing with This Works In Transit // A surf-centric hairwash duo // A non-planned black and gold theme for a night out // Pretty posy // Freshly polished tips // Another mint? Oh yes // Laura Mercier Foundation Primer in Radiance and Chantecaille’s Just Skin – a beaut of a complexion combo // The best brownie I’ve ever eaten (bold statement there) from Salt at Covent Garden // Forgive me for I have Sugar Sin-ned.

Product Pick of the Week: Nails Inc Polish in Royal Botanical Gardens – the lacquer of mint as pictured above. The polish push continues with my latest non-necessary purchase from Nails Inc’s newest release. Bright, bold and different enough (sorta’) from the other turquoises in my collection to warrant it making the journey home with me; I’ve been gathering ‘what nail polish is that?’ compliments all week.

Blog Post of the Week: The one post that made me elicit an intrigued ‘oooooh‘? Beautezine’s report on Josie Maran’s new Argan Self Tanning Body Wash. A tan that you apply in the shower, leave on for 30 seconds, then rinse off. AH-mazing. I’m hoping this is a little technique that will catch on, alternatively – when will Josie Maran wash onto UK shores?

Must-Watch of the Week: Caroline Hirons in motion, in a video, jabbering skincare with Pixiwoo. Does YouTube get better than that? No, I think not. Save yourself a mid-video pause and go and retrieve your notepad now. As a sidenote, I saw her yesterday and she sprayed rosewater in my face while barking at me to inhale and enjoy the moment – it was rather dreamy.

Added to the Wishlist: For the first time since I started this feature I don’t think anything new has crept onto my wishlist. I know, am I feeling ok? Instead I’ll leave you with something that I’d lusted after for too long and finally clicked checkout on this week – Omorovicza’s Deep Cleansing Mask. I can thank Caroline for that one.
