When it comes to hairstyling I’m a big believer of the less is more approach. I did the ’90’s thing of applying so much mousse my hair was one big crunchy mess, but boy did it smooth down my scrunchie-held ponytail a treat. Then there was the ‘bigger is better’ uni party girl phase where I went through a can of hairspray and volumising dry shampoo a week. Recently I’ve been a blow-dry-and-go girl, not even using conditioner and turning to my straighteners to add an Olsen-esque wave into my short-ish, now kinda mid-length hair. So I’m letting you in on my routine, products and techniques. Once you get the knack it’s simple and you’ll never look at a pair of straighteners in the same way again. Ready. Steady. Wave.
