Say hello to this month’s instalment of The Fitness Files; an update of all things sweaty that drops on the first of every month. You ready for round four? Let’s do this…

THE SONG TO ADD TO YOUR PLAYLIST – I know I’ve been prattling on and about about this playlist, but not only is great to have nostalgic moments and sing along loudly with, but it’s a fab one to get sweaty to as well – it’s all about Anna & Lily’s Teenage Throwback Playlist. Just be warned that may have to learn how to run and sing at the same time.

THE WORKOUT VIDEO TO GIVE A GO –  because I’m seriously obsessed with Crow Pose right now, I’m going to have to say Yoga With Adriene’s How to Do Crow Pose video. She breaks it down in a really easy to follow way and though I’m currently only able to hold the pose for all of about 0.1 seconds if that, I’m attempting to do this video a few times to week to strengthen and build up to 0.2 seconds of holding.

THE RECIPE THAT’S WORTH A WHIRL – shameless plug alert, but really the recipe that you’ve got to give a go is one of my three juice and smoothie recipes from this video. If it’s a post workout fill-up you’re looking for then the Peanut Butter Smoothie is amazing, if you fancy something sweet then it’s all about the Berry Smoothie or in the AM I love knocking back the Green Juice (that actually tastes really nice, promise!).

THE ROUTINE THAT I’LL BE DOING FOR MARCH – I’m still working on my glute exercises to strengthen everything up, but I think April will be the month that I finally brave running again – so I’ll keep you posted on that one. Aside from working up the courage to pound the pavements I’ll be rolling out my Yoga mat a few times a week and I’m even tempted to do the Yoga With Adriene 30 Days of Yoga challenge again – there’s 30 days this month…
