The Desk Edit Re-Jig

Every few months I like to mix up my deskside beauty bumf. Partly due to seasonal changes and partly because like in the same way I get über excited when I finish a notepad, it makes me rather satisfied to have a switch-a-roo. So here are the results of my latest re-jig to aid me through my laptop leaning days:

Sunday Riley Juno Transformative Lipid Serum – this has been added to my MUJI drawer as a ‘must-use-it-more’ addition. It’s packed with the good stuff and if I’m having a no makeup day I’m partial to massaging this in midday as a special skin treat (if I can stomach that reeking scent) for a hyper-dose of moisturiser.

Bliss High Intensity Hand Cream* – I am a hand cream magnet. Hand creams and body lotions are the two products which I never seem to reach the end of my stocks of. This Bliss offering a nice option if you fancy something nourishing without slipping all over your keyboard post-application.

OPI Avoplex Cuticle Oil to Go* – one thing I tend to squeeze my way through at a high rate is cuticle products. I become quite addicted to the whole brush-on, massage-in action and my cuticles are thanking me for it. This OPI offering does the job while smelling faintly of sweets. Nice.

Malin + Goetz Candle in Mojito – a fresh, zingy scent with a room-throw that wafts throough every single room in the flat. Though I like my muskier, woodier burners, I save those for the evening; in the day I like something that’s refreshing and the mint that cuts through this candle does just that.

There were however, three items that survived the rejig from the past desk beauty edit. Firstly the Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid with Lemon Oil – yup, I’m still slathering this on and licking it off as an hourly activity. Elemental Herbology’s Flower Harmonising Mist is  knocking around on hand to impart a hydration mist if required and the Aromatherapy Associates Support Breathe Essence still comes in handy for moments of madness or blocked nose cold-induced emergencies. Oh and those ear plugs. It’s all about the ear plugs.
