The Autumn Capsule Wardrobe Haul

Featuring cashmere, on cashmere, on fluffy wool sweater

I’m pretty chuffed with how much current capsule wardrobe stands (see last week’s post for my latest capsule wardrobe ramblings). I don’t think they’ll be anything that I need to add to it for a while and I actually look forward to the days where I can slink out of my loungewear and slip into something slightly more structured, but still equally comfy and warm. I’m all about the coziness, me. Of course when it comes to getting milk at 6.30am in the morning, I’m a ‘Throw on a coat and flip flops and let’s hope no one realises that I haven’t got any underwear on’ kinda gal, but any time after that I like to leave the pineapple top-knot and morning breath at home.

So today I’m showing you my latest purchases, most of which come from the ASOS White collection, which is basically my ASOS shortcut. If I’m not in the mood for an hour-long browse trying to root out pieces from the hundreds that are uploaded everyday, the ASOS White tab is where I head. I find it features items that put a simple twist on a good, solid basic. Some of the items are a little too trendy for me, but I often find tops and sweaters there that tickle my pickle. It’s where a lot of the 100% cashmere  items can be found on the site too, so if you’re in the market for something that will make you want to hug yourself all day and not with a horrendous price tag for the often gob-smackingly expensive material, I’d recommend a scroll.

There are a few other bits and bobs in there too, but it’s basically just jumpers. Yep, that’s it. It’s definitely not the most experimental haul out there, but it’s one that would make my Mum proud. I’ve found my uniform and for the majority of the time in the cooler months I enjoy a nice, snuggly jumper so I’ve added a few more to the collection, along with a fancy top or two to spice things up for special occasions – I know, living life on the edge, eh? So if you’re a fan of all things fluffy, then this one is for you…
