Can we just discuss the complete and utter fabulousness that is the Whistles Leather Pouch? I can’t lie, this is my second one. You’ve probably seen my mint green version more than a fair few times on VDM, but it’s looking a bit battered now so when I spotted this shade in store I thought it was about time to upgrade to this stunner of a sack. An orangey-red material fashioned into a soft zip-up gold adorned bag; so lovely in fact I sometimes choose to sport it as a clutch too. I’m currently eying the matching Card Holder for my Oyster. Somebody stop me.
The most Mary Poppins-like of them all is this pout patterned one from Charlotte Tilbury. A cotton offering (nice and easy to wash if you need to), so roomy I can often fit a whole weekend’s worth of slap in there. Pretty and practical.
An old classic is the Paul & Joe Floral Makeup Bag – this one goes out to the organisational freaks out there. The interior houses enough pockets, pouches and compartments to keep even the most typical Virgos satisfied. There are two pockets to stuff on each side and two pouches that clip in and out just like a Filofax. Often I just use one pocket to keep my on-the-go makeup in check, but when I’ve got a whole face worths to carry I employ the whole thing.
My final choice is unfortunately now a bit difficult to source given its current ‘out of stock’ situation in the UK, but I thought I’d throw it in anyway in a ‘see it, then grab it’ warning type way. A blue lip emblazoned black bag that arrived as part of the NARS Promiscuous Lip Coffret, I instantly fell in love. Now this isn’t neatly organised inside, nor particularly roomy but I can fit an au naturale face kit in it and common’ it’s a cutie. Pretty pouch lovers – you hear me?
