Pre-Award Haul

Phew – what a busy weekend! I will admit that a spot of shopping was indulged in, so I thought I would show you my wares. Now with the Cosmo Blog Awards announcement party shindig round the corner I thought now was the time to finally get round to purchasing a few mundane makeup items that I have been putting off for a while…
Yes, another MAC Mineralise Skinfinish Natural! I go through about 3 of these a year, and here is a little fact for you – it was actually the first ever MAC product I brought! This time I went for the shade ‘Medium’ as my ‘Medium+’ was making me look a little tangoed. It is such a boring purchase for me, but a necessary one. Add’s a good amount of coverage and leaves a nice ‘finished’ look to the skin – keeps me matte but with a nice amount of natural glow popping through. Another boring purchase was the Eyelure Girls Aloud Kimberly lashes – the most fluttery, gorgeous lashes ever! These are my go-to falsies for evenings out. Eyelure make the best false lashes in my opinion – the glue that comes with them is half decent, really light so you can’t feel them and re-useable (I get around 5 uses per pair). £5.35 well spent on what my boyfriend noted as ‘something that I can grow myself’.

While we are on the topic of the Cosmo Blog Awards, after much panicking I found a dress! A dress people! Twitter has been all of a mutter of people tweeting pictures of their glorious gowns and after a quick dash round every shop in Brighton that sells womanswear I pumped for a simple number from H&M….

Now I don’t want to get all Bridezilla on your ass, but I feel like keeping it a surprise for the big day 😉 But here is a little hint – black and nude (basically my Uniform colours), with a hint of bedazzlement! I’m planning on filling you guys in with all the goss, I’m sure I will be tweeting about it all day on Twitter, and I will definitely do a blog post on the event, makeup, dress and perhaps even a vloggy vlog? Who knows!

Any of you ladies pick anything up this weekend? Do share 🙂

Much Love,
Vivianna x
