Waking Up Wonderful and Knock Knock Pads

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. Bourjois‘ AW’15 New Thangs. Bourjois have a tonne of stuff releasing in the next month or so and I’m swooning over it all. What’s got my heart pounding the most is the two new shades of the Rouge Edition Velvets – ahhh Plum Plum Girl looks HAWT. The range has always lacked a deep berry, so I think this is going to hit the spot. Keep an eye out for them dropping around 30th September.

2. REN Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial. Me and acid/enzyme-based leave-on products historically don’t get on that well, but this stuff from REN is a bit of a game changer for me in that department. My skin didn’t feel like sandpaper the next day like it has with other products, instead things felt smoother and all my dry patches were less crusty looking. Nice. Perhaps one for the sensitive skinned guys and gals out there?

3. Knock Knock Pads. When I was in Germany last weekend, I got to use my Knock Knock ‘Pack This’ List for the first time, that I showed back in my US Haul video. Of course not everything on the list was applicable to our trip – binoculars? hmmmm – but there was a tonne of stuff that was and it was a good way of checking I’d got everything and getting to put a satisfying tick next to my packed belongings.

4. Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Mist. I have quite honestly never used anything in my life that has made my skin look so darn dewy. The first time I used it, I pumped about five spritzes over freshly-made up skin and I looked wet. I thought it would dry down, but oh-no, this stuff stays glowy. I’ve found that the best way to use it is prior to makeup application or after, just used sparingly. Think of it more like a spray-friendly moisturiser.

5. What I Eat in a Day? So I’ve been thinking about taking this concept and finding a way to slot it into video form? I love cooking and thought it might be a fun way to incorporate a day’s worth of recipes, whilst being a bit volley at the same time. Plus any excuse to shoehorn the ol’ kitchen into content, right 😉 Holler if you’re interested.
