Bronzey Eyeshadow Goodness & My New App Love

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. Bronzey Eyeshadow Goodness from Charlotte Tilbury. I’ve had a little sneak peek of the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadows (launching next month) and let me tell you they are phwoooorrr. The shade Bette Davis Eyes is my favourite and it has just the right depth, amount of shimmer, tones of bronze and gold – it almost makes your lids look wet. A release that is well worth the wait.

2. On The Subject of Charlotte Tilbury. I’m in the mood for a bit of a C.T haul – it’s been a while, you know? Maybe the Powder or the Concealer? I haven’t given much of the complexion bits and bobs a go. Anything you’d recommend?

3. Lush’s Mange Too Massage Bar. Last weekend I headed to a Chocolate Festival where Lush had set up shop amongst the sea of sugar. As a one-off for the event, they’d rustled up a batch of some of their long-lost choco-based products and there I saw the discontinued and oft-missed Mange Too Massage Bar. I was obbsessed with this stuff back at Uni and it’s one of those products where the scent is so nostalgic to me. I’ve currently got it in my bathroom drawers and get a whiff that makes me smile each time I open them.

4. Clearing Out My Closet Makeup Stash. Last weekend Mark and I had a mega clear-out; part one of a two parter that we’re planning on finishing off today. I’m always amazed at how much stuff I’ve got and how much I’m comfortable saying goodbye to, but I swear my possessions must multiply when I’m not looking. Ahhhh – I love the end result too. Tidy home, tidy mind and all that.

5. The New ‘Instagram Layout’ App. Give it a download. It’s way easier to use than any layout apps I’ve used before and you can make yourself look like a twin with the mirror function – I’ve always wondered how people do that. On a sidenote, I’ve been catching up with the new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and it makes me want to apply all of the makeup. In the picture above I did a red-toned smokey eye with basically every rusty coloured shadow I own.
