Ruby Woo Lip Liner & CHANEL’s New CC

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. There’s a MAC Ruby Woo Lip Liner!?! Who knew? I was alerted to this by a lovely reader on Twitter and now it’s sitting at the top of my shopping list. It was released as part of the Pencilled In collection, which aimed to match of some of their best selling lipstick shades to a liner and there’s plenty more freshly launches pencils that I now need in my stash. Cheers for that MAC.

2. CHANEL’s CC Cream is Lush. Now it’s not the cheapest offering out there, but I have to say that recently I’ve got into my CC’s. Remember the Estée Lauder Revitalising Supreme CC Cream? I went through a whole tube of that before having to repurchase another. I see them as more of a last step of your skincare routine moisturiser/SPF/first step of a makeup routine with a hint of coverage kinda thing and the new CHANEL CC fits that step exactly; giving a load of hydration, SPF, and a light dose of coverage, all with that lovely summery CHANEL-ish scent.

3. Loving Nail Stuff. I’m having a real nail moment recently. I still find the process of actually painting them a real chore, but there’s been some new stuff added into the mix which has made it a little less mundane and for the end result of perfectly polished and chip-free talons, it’s worth all the huffing and puffing. Keep an eye out for tomorrow’s video where I ramble on more about my new faves.

4. Shirley’s Makeup Storage. I’m in the mood to switch things up makeup storage-wise. I’m wanting to downsize (I swear this itch to clear out constantly never goes away) and I love how Shirley has hers arranged. A cute little trolley featuring all her favourites, that you wheel around to where there’s good light to apply it all – doesn’t it look nifty?

5. My Favourite Yoga Top. When practicing Yoga I feel like it is now 100% necessary to wear this top I picked up from Sweaty Betty. It’s not cheap, but it makes me giggle when I put it on and it’s nice and airy for getting into all the poses. I’m currently working on my crow and managed to hold it for about 0.1 of a second the other day. Tips and advice are much appreciated as face planting is not that fun.
