Miracle Masks & No Makeup Days

FIVE THING-1

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. 2014 Favourites. Around this time of year I tend to get a bit excited as over the next week some of my favourite videos will make their way onto the ‘Tube and I’ll be guaranteed to be stuck to my laptop for at least a few hours catching up with them all. It’s 2014 Favourites time. Keep an eye out for mine that’s coming next Tuesday.

2. No Makeup Days. Ahhhhh my skin just loves a good literal no makeup day. I usually try and get a few in over the festive period as coming back home means plenty of sofa time amongst family and I’m pretty sure they don’t give two hoots whether my lashes are bare or not. I did get a few in and my skin feels all the better for it along with help from…

3. OSKIA’s Renaissance Mask. It really is a lifesaver isn’t it? Dull, drab skin after a slew of poop weather and one too many of Mum’s homemade chocolate truffles *insert 100x heart-eyed emojis* are sloughed away after 10 minutes with this on. It’s gentle and only tingles slightly, but afterwards my skin truly does feel as soft as a baby’s behind.

4. All About that Base. When you’re travelling and downsizing your stash, it really does make you cut the crap and workout what products you’re really loyal to. I’ve been feeling that way about the Estée Lauder Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Foundation. I left it at home over Christmas and really missed it. Don’t worry it’s all packed and ready to go for…

5. NEW YORK! Today is the day that Mark and I head to New York and we could not be more excited. It’s been a crazy week in the run-up to it and I feel like I never want to look at my suitcase ever again, but after a quick one night stop at home and a few laundry loads later we’re off again. I plan to listen to New York related songs all the way there because I’m such a keen bean like that.
