Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick In Very Victoria

Very Victoria

You know I’m going through a ‘tawny, kinda brown, kinda pink’ phase when when it comes to nude lipsticks and right now it’s the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria that I’m reaching for the most. Now don’t be put off when you spot the word ‘matte‘ in the name because when I first used this I was convinced that it was part of her original lipstick line because it felt so darn hydrating on the lips. Seriously. Think of it more like a shine-free lipstick that instead of pulling all the moisture out of your lips, actually has a bit of a balm-like quality. It’s a weird one, but the texture is perfect for everyday wear because you don’t need to worry about anything flaking off or looking shrivelled and application is nice and drag-free – no lip liner required.

Now the colour looks different on everyone. On me it’s a browny coral that pulls more pink, but on others it’s more of a 90’s brown – so it’s definitely one to try before you buy if you can. At £23 it’s not the cheapest lipstick out there, but look at that beaut of a lipstick case and because it’s so creamy, it’s a fab multi-tasker too. I’ve been channeling my inner minimal makeup lover and doubling up by throwing some of this on the cheeks too for a natural looking flush that isn’t too garish. It might just be my favourite C.T purchase yet…
