The Weekend Post #44: Bathtime

I know I promised my full on body SOS routine to be served up today, but after a quick browse through the products I used it was basically my ‘Triple Threat Facial’ that I’ve posted about before and the products above. So for fear of boring your socks of on a lovely Sunday I thought I’d go through the new-ish products I use to clean, buff and moisturise at bath time that leave me feeling squeaky clean and smelling rather lovely.

I went a little wild in Boots recently with their 3-for-2 offer and stocked up on Soap & Glory’s new releases. I do love the ol’ luxury bathtime bits from time to time, but on a daily basis you can’t go wrong with this brand. Makers of some of the best smelling products on the market, reasonably priced and housed in kitschy packaging to give a bit of girliness to an other Lynx-dominant bathroom I’m slowly acrewing quite an S&G collection. It was the perfect case of try and buy when Soap & Glory sent me over some samples of their new products. After one use of the Sugar Crush Body Wash I hot footed it to Boots to pick some up. If you like zesty, sweet scents then this needs a spot in your shower (I swear a certain someone has been helping themselves to a few pumps) – Fresh’s Brown Sugar scent at a fraction of the cost – sold. While perusing the aisles I saw a matching Body Scrub – I don’t think I’ve ever dropped something in my basket so fast. This thick, sugar scrub sloughs away like no other and again, smells incredibly edible. After towelling off I approach my body in two halves. The bottom half, being in a permanently covered up state till next June gets treated to a slathering of This Works Deep Sleep Dream Cream*. A lavender scented, rich lotion that also smells amazing (noticing a trend here?) and supposedly aids sleep (although I don’t need too much help with that seeing as sleeping is my favourite activity). I tend to tan my top half – arms, neck, and lady chesticles – with my Xen-Tan, or if I fancy something a little more subtle, the Perricone MD No Sun Tanner*. Lazy? Who cares. Practical? Hell yes.

A Sugar Crush-centric bathtime, followed by a No Sun Tanner and Deep Sleep Dream Cream? Perfecto. Now can it be time for bed already? ZzzZzzZzz…
