It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. All edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away…
1. My Favourite YouTube Watch Right Now? A few people have asked this question at our #BeautyChatLIVE session and my answer is always Jamie and Nikki. I’m obsessed. They’re Australian family vloggers who have just given birth to the most beautiful baby daughter and I drop everything whenever they upload a video. Twice a week for 20 minutes I’m glued to the screen.
2. Clear Improvements. I’ve been getting an attack of the blackheads around my chin and nose recently so I’ve brought back the big guns – Origins Clear Improvements Mask. This stuff literally sucks ’em up and cleanses my skin without making it feel irritated and hot like I could fry an egg on it. I always, always come back to it in times of complexion distress. Currently I’m using it every other evening on the areas where I need it.
3. A Pre-Mask Step? Speaking of Origins, has anyone tried their new Maskimizer? It’s supposed to act as a mask primer to increase the spreadability whatever you use on top of it and give a nudge of extra hydration. I have to say I’ve yet to give it a go, but I’m intrigued. What are your thoughts? A pre-mask must or not?
4. Capsule Wardrobe: It’s Almost Time. In a week’s time it marks the three month anniversary of my Capsule Wardrobe switch-around, so it’s time to start thinking about what I want my spring capsule to look like. I have to say that I’m itching to get started on it and add some new items in, and some colour, and some pattern. I’m excited. I’ll pop up an update on all things style soon.
5. #BeautyChatLIVE. Lily and I are two thirds of the way in to our #BeautyChatLIVE tour with Clarins and I just wanted to check in and say how darn lovely it’s been. Thank you so much to everyone who has made it out to a session; you’re all so kind and we both truly appreciate your support. I wish I could go for a drink with you all or maybe a bit Space NK spree? That would be fun too.
