The Winter Mint Polish & Back On The Lip Pencil Train

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. On My Shopping List Right Now. An Oribe launch that had slipped under my radar was the Run Through Detangling Primer, but I found it on a sneaky browse of Space NK and now it’s top of my shopping list. I don’t have the knottiest hair in the world, but the wind can make things a little tangled and I feel like in the winter hair can always do with a bit of extra love. Has anyone tried it yet?

2. My Favourite Hand Cream. I’m not sure I’ve ever mentioned my favourite hand cream around these parts before, so with things starting to feel a bit rhino-esque in the palm department I thought I’d share what I’m slathering on each night to soften things back up again. It’s the OSKIA Renaissance Hand Cream – yep there’s a hand cream in their Renaissance range and of course I love it – surprise, surprise.

3. Getting More Juice. You remember how about a month a go I spoke about getting more love juice by taking time out to spend with family and friends in my ‘How To Be More Productive’ post? Well I feel like in recent weeks I’ve been practicing what I’ve been preaching; going for walks with my parents on their days off, taking a whole day out of my schedule to spend time with a friend that was visiting for the day, booking up literally every weekend till Christmas with plans with my love ones. My social juice level is at an all time high.

4. Back On The Lip Pencil Train. The time of year has come where I am firmly sitting on that NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil love train again. The matteness, paired with the creaminess, paired with the oh-so-bold colours – LOVE. Would you be up for seeing a post on my favourite shades, because I feel like I have tried most of them over the years? Let me know below…

5. The Winter Mint Polish. I know I spoke about it in one of this week’s posts, but seriously I can’t get enough of the Smith & Cult Nail Polish in Bitter Buddhist. A muted mint green, it’s the perfect way of wearing pastels in the cooler months and I can’t stop looking down at my nails whenever I wear it. SWOON
