It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:
1. The New Travel Makeup Bags. Recently on our trip to Bath, Mark and I discovered a shop called HAY which is basically home interiors heaven. Though there was a tonne of stuff I could have easily walked out with, I ended up purchasing one Small Dot Washbag and one Large Dot Washbag for my travelling beauty and toiletry kits that I always have stored and ready to go. Oh so chic!
2. Oil in the AM? Recently I’ve been doubling up on my oil dose and massaging it on in the mornings and evenings. Oil is definitely not something to be scared about peeps. The heating and crappy weather is drying out my skin, so it loves a bit of the MV Organics Rose Plus Booster in the morn; plus it adds an extra dewiness to my foundation too which is always appreciated.
3. My Soft Spot for the Magic Foundation. You can find all the deats on Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation here as I reviewed it earlier this week, but I’m really developing quite the soft spot for this stuff. Sure, it has its hang ups but overall I think it’s a really nice foundation for the cooler months when my complexion can handle something that’s a little thicker and moisturising all at the same time. And the coverage even works wonders on my wind-slapped ruddy cheeks.
4. The Capsule Wardrobe is Coming. Oh people it’s coming soon. These videos have been a real pain in the balls to film but hopefully you’ll enjoy a little how-to video explaining how I managed to cut my wardrobe down to capsule proportions and then a look round what actually made my autumn cut. Keep an eye out next week round these parts.
5. CHANEL’s Christmas Collection. Featuring eye, lip and cheek products all based around their best-selling Le Vernis Rouge Noir – which coincidently happens to be one of my all-time favourite nail polish shades – this festive-themed collection is all kinds of awesome. I’ll be popping up a post on it soon nearer to its release date, but let me give you a heads up now that the Illusion D’Ombre in Rouge Noir is something to add to your shopping list right now.
