NYX in Selfridges & Charlotte Tilbury Hauling

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. My Charlotte Tilbury Haul. I haven’t mentioned it around these parts yet because I filmed last week’s haul video before I went slightly wild at the Charlotte Tilbury counter, but I did get a little hauly at good ol’ C.T. The Magic Foundation, the Colour-Coded Eyeshadow Quads in The Sophisticate and The Vintage Vamp are now mine and I also picked up the Brow Lift in Brooke S as well because I was running low on brow product. I went there for one thing and came out with four. Oops. Reviews coming next week.

2. NYX in Selfridges. Nestled in the back of the Selfridges Beauty Workshop is a double-sided NYX counter. I did a double-take when I first spotted it before proceeding to spend about 20 minutes swatching everything. There’s a tonne of stuff to play with from those Lip Butters that everyone goes on about, to a load of brow bits and even a contour palette. It’s all reasonably priced and I seriously love every single thing I picked up.

3. Blinc Brow Bar are Magicians. Aren’t they? Not living near one nowadays makes it tough to get round to seeing them, but when I do and accept that I’ll just have to go to all my afternoon meetings in London with a red forehead it’s so worth it. Everything is just tidied up, sharper but in a soft way and the skin around my brows is silky soft afterwards. I can’t stop feeling my arches for days. Baby soft.

4. The Most Comfortable Matte Lip Product. Speaking of my earlier NYX purchases, I’m actually in love with the Soft Matte Lip Cream in Morocco. It’s absolutely beautiful. It goes on like a non-sticky gloss and then dries slightly to form a film that feels comfortable on the lips, but really holds the colour in place. They’re unlike anything else I’ve ever tried. I highly recommend a purchase.

5. A Peek in My Bag? You up for it? I’m thinking of channeling some old skool YouTube vibes next week and doing a little what’s in my bag with my new-ish Sophie Hulme. You interested? Holler and its happening…
