OPI Rainbow Connection

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! My news is that my room is nearly finished being redecorated! Wahey! It’s only taken my Dad 3 months 😉 Being that it is close to completion, today I unpacked my new vanity dressing table and filled in to the brim with all my makeup – I’m a slight tidy nerd so this has brought me great satisfaction to finally start to get things organised. Amongst my sort-out, after disposing of  fair few polishes (all to be given to a very lucky colleague), I found this baby that I have yet to show you! I picked this up a few weeks back now after seeing it being raved about by many bloggers and I can’t say I’m disappointed..
OPI Rainbow Connection

Yes, it is OPI Rainbow Connection from the Christmas Muppets Collection – and isn’t it just beautiful! I brought it from the Lena White counter in Oxford Street Selfridges (it is a pretty hard colour to find), and all the way home I couldn’t stop staring at it! The people sitting around me on the train must have thought I was nuts, but the sparkle in this is absolutely magical. It contains flecks of green, yellow, silver, pink and orange all paired with larger, almost sequin size glitter – AMAZING! To get full-on opaque glitter on the nail it does take around 4 coats and some carefully placed ‘dabbing’, and of course as with all glitter polishes it is an absolute bugger to get off, but it really is worth it. I haven’t played around using it as a top coat yet; I’ve seen people using this over nudes, which I am sure to love or even darker navy’s and blacks which gives a more festive edge, but I will definitely pop up some NOTD’s soon 🙂 I think getting a glitter polish from the OPI Christmas collection is becoming a bit of a tradition! Last year it was Bring On The Bling from the Burlesque collection and now this – ah well, it’s definitely a tradition that I am happy to continue 😉
Much Love,
Vivianna x
