Picking out my beauty favourites for the month of June was easy peasy this time round. I filmed this video whilst I was in L.A which meant that everything chosen was that bloody good that I hauled it to practically the other side of the world with me and deemed it good enough to contribute to my luggage allowance. So we’re talking some seriously H.G status stuff here.
There are a few repeats littered throughout, so not everything is new new; but I thought it would be nice to throw them in, just to hammer home how attached I’ve become to certain items. There’s the ridiculously illuminating base that brightens me up even on my dullest of days and a lash lengthening mascara that I purchased exactly a year ago that are both still going strong. The lipstick combo that I’ve been donning in most of my recent videos and the pricey eye cream which has been keeping my under-eyes über soft and a little tightened (WIN!). I’ve also snuck in a matte hair helper that doesn’t leave your hair feeling like an old bit of garden twine and a leopard print hairbrush because, well…. it’s leopard print.
P.S) Apologies that things have been a bit quiet around these parts in recent days. My blogging mojo has gone walkies, but today it’s made a return so they’ll be a post tomorrow morning and things should get rolling again. A major blog redesign is on the way and it’s been tough to keep ploughing through with things looking a bit tired and old when I know that something oh-so-swishy is coming soon, so things might be a bit sporadic until the new look is launched as I gather fresh new content for that. I’m so bloomin’ excited. Thanks for hanging on in there!
