Holiday Packing Tips: Keep Rollin’, Rollin’, Rollin’, Rollin’

It was a tough call between using a Limp Bizkit or a Chamillionaire reference in the title, but Fred Durst always wins. Anyway, whilst I was packing up to head to L.A on Sunday I thought I might as well take you along for the ride too and try and pass on a few packing tips while I was at it. Now I must say that my first tip, would be not to film a video when you’re in the middle of packing, or else you’ll still be doing at midnight and thinking that you may as well just give up on sleep and pull an all-nighter. Speaking from experience here.

However, given that I travel here and there these days and have a couple years under my belt of long distance relationships where I lived on National Express coaches (£1 fares to London baby!), I’m pretty alright at packing if I do say so myself. Of course the obligatory – ROLL YOUR CLOTHES, DON’T FOLD THEM – order is in there, but there’s also a handy little tip I use to stop my powder compacts smashing in-flight, the reason why socks are awesome for packing and a few other tricks up my sleeve that I’ve included in there.

There’s also a link to my ultimate packing PDF that I use whenever I go away which always ensures that I never leave anything behind (so far!). There’s plenty of space for tick boxes and everything. Anything else to add packing pros? Let me know below…
