Hey Santa! What’s On My Christmas List…

IMG_1016

With all these Christmas shenanigans going on, I thought I’d let you in on what has made it onto my wishlist this year. Now it’s not like back in the day when I’d spend hours and hours pouring over the Argos catalogue making precise notes of what I’d like to see under the tree including page numbers and product references. Heck – some years I made mood boards! I was extremely methodical about the whole thing and used to go nuts when Father Christmas sent a letter back saying the message was good and received. I’d lay in bed finally able to sleep knowing that my clear messaging and list work had gone through ok. In fact I don’t even make a list these days, so if friends or family have stumbled across this then it may come in helpful for you. Hello Lesley! You may wish to send this in Mum’s direction…

So there’s no Malibu Barbie on my list this year, but I’d be very chuffed to receive practically anything from the M&S pyjama range. I went there with my Mum a few weeks ago and had to be dragged away from this marble effect fleecy number. Marble! Fleece! Two of my favourite things. In fact everything that I stroked there was so ridiculously soft I’d be happy with anything. It makes me warm and cosy just thinking about it all.

Now I’m a kitchenware fanatic. I love knowing what the hottest spiraliser is, what blender is best – I’m into it. But my favourite brand for all things nifty in the kitchen has to be Joseph Joseph. If I could everything in our kitchen Joseph Joseph then I would probably burst with joy and refuse to ever leave the room again. I’ve been eyeing up their Salad Bowl for the longest time, one – because the bowl is huge and two – it has integrated salad tossers which just seems like a genius idea. The thought of adding this on my list came the other day when I was using two spoons to mix a salad in a bowl that was way too small which resulted in half of it ending up on the floor.

Continuing on with the homeware theme, I’ve been thinking of upgrading my Lumie Light. Now the model that I have has rave reviews and I’m very chuffed with it, but I’ve been thinking that it might be worth handing mine over to Mark and upgrading. The next level up is the Lumie Zest Combination Light Therapy which doubles up as a wake-up light and portable SAD lamp. Anyone given it a go and would recommend?

Finally I would like another pair of The White Company Cashmere Socks please Santa. I know this seems like a ridiculous expense but I have one pair that I love way too much for a person to love a piece of fabric. I always have cold feet, but I never do when my toes are tucked into these. Never! They’re kind of magic and they’re so good that I don’t even care that Mark rolls his eyes every time I put them on. Don’t knock ’em, till you’ve tried ’em.
