The Softest Leggings EVER & Tinted Moisturiser For Your Nails

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. All edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away…

1. Tinted Moisturiser For Your Nails? I’m a sucker for wording sometimes and the Butter London Sheer Wisdom Nail Tinted Moisturiser, had me at the name. Doesn’t it just sound divine? The minute I got my mitts on a bottle, I whipped the second to lightest shade, Light, on my nails. Of course it doesn’t provide much in the colour stakes, but it does give a glossy sheen and over time is supposed to help repair nails. I’ll have to report back on this one, but – so far, so good.

2. MAC Velvet Teddy. It’s a beaut. I think I’ve found the perfect brown-y nude for me. It’s matte, so super long-lasting and it’s not a million miles away from my natural lip colour so I don’t worry too much about having a ring of leftover colour around my lips once it starts to wear off. I’ll pop up a full rave next week.

3. Lash Lifts RULE. A few weeks ago I had my lashes tinted and lifted at Jamie Louise Beauty (absolute babe – would definitely recommend) and boy have I fallen in love with how my lashes look. The lift has meant that I haven’t even had to go near a pair of eyelash curlers, nor been chained to waterproof mascara formulas and the tint – though I didn’t think would do much – has made my lashes look so much thicker and has meant that I’ve barely worn mascara this month. The results are supposed to last six weeks and I’m two weeks in and still going strong. Amazing stuff.

4. A Perfect Blend. Recently I’ve been enjoying a new base combination. Together the BECCA Backlight Priming Filter and the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream in Fair are a dream. I take one pump of each on the top of a ZOEVA Buffing Brush then blend it all over the face. It’s just the right balance of coverage and luminosity. Juicy skin in just two pumps.

5. The Lululemon Align Leggings. These might just be the most comfortable piece of clothing I have ever owned. EVER. Even comfier than my fluffy dressing gown. I know! They definitely aren’t the cheapest piece of workout gear I’ve ever purchased, but I’m hoping that it’s an investment in that they’ll be my last pair of leggings standing. Seriously have a feel of ’em next time you’re near a store. As soft as a baby’s behind – I tell ya.
