The Happiness Planner & A New Love for Eyeliner?

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. All edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away…

1. My Streamlined Skincare. Keep an eye out for tomorrow’s post, because I’m talking all things skincare; editing it down to just the essentials that I like to keep close by these days. I used to keep a tonne of skincare for a whole range of concerns, but I feel like my complexion and I have got to know each other a little better these days and so I know its likes and dislikes and have streamlined my stash accordingly.

2. A New Love For Eyeliner? Recently I’ve found myself drawn to eyeliner. What’s all that about? I’ve even reached for it on days when I’ve been a little pinched on time (which is not something I’d recommend), but I’ve managed to recover it with the help of a couple of hundred cotton buds and really enjoyed the result. Of course the Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen is what I’m all for here. Nothing else even comes close.

3. Where to Eat in Brighton. I was wondering if you’d be interested in a few Brighton related posts? Having lived here all my life and then wandering off to Uni and then London for a few years I’ve had to reacquaint myself with the place, but seeing as it’s been a few months and I’m always getting asked on Twitter to recommend places to eat, let me know if you’d like to see a couple of foodie related edits.

4. The New Workout Wear Shop. I’d been waiting for the Frame online shop to open like a kid waiting to watch Elf for the first time that year and when it opened its doors I wasn’t disappointed. There are all sorts of brands on there that I haven’t spotted before and most at a pretty reasonable price point. A great place to deck yourself out for the impending New Year’s resolutions gym sessions.

5. The Happiness Planner. You know how I love my journalling bits and bobs and this is my latest find. A bit like the Daily Greatness one that I’ve used in the past, it works as a yearly dear diary almost, chronicling everything from emotions to exercise and everything in-between. Second day in – still going strong!
