Clinique Do Contour & New from NARS

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. A New Foundation from NARS? Well this one looks interesting. It’s been a while since NARS have added to their much loved foundation line and this time round it’s an oil-free, long-wearing formula being added to the ranks. It’s called the All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation and came to counters this week. Anyone given it a go? I’ll be demo-ing it in tomorrow’s video so stay tuned.

2. My New Gym Bag. Isn’t it a beauty? Now I don’t actually go to the gym, but I do have days where I need to transport my kit around with me and this is the perfect size for my running trainers and all the associated warm workout gear that currently goes with them. It’s from Oysho, a brand I found on Twitter. I dare you to browse their gym clothing section and not add something to your wishlist.

3. Lil’ Ol’ Me on Into The Gloss. Now this happened weeks ago so feel free to shout ‘Get over it Anna‘ to the screen but I thought I’d just slot it in here for anyone who missed my #TopShelfie on Into The Gloss, which is basically my favourite beauty website of all time. As Gabriel once sang, ‘Dreams can come true‘…

4. Clinique Do Contour. I have to say when I first saw and swatched the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour in Curvy Contour and Sculpting Highlight in Hefty Highlight sticks, I wasn’t that impressed. The contour seemed too dark, too orange-y, and the highlight a bit too ‘in yer face‘. However upon swatching both they actually do a pretty good job of adding definition and could not be easier to apply. A fool-proof way to eke out cheekbones? I think so.

5. An Ode to Setting Spray. This week has featured some pretty long days thanks to #BeautyChatLIVE – big love to everyone who made it to a session, it’s been a seriously fab week – which means my makeup has had to last really well. So I finally found the perfect occasion to test the L’Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray and boy does it pass the test. When this makes its way from US to UK shores, it’s definitely one to add to your basket.
