A Mini Cult Beauty Haul & 15% Off

IMG_2873

You know I stop by the Cult Beauty ‘What’s New’ page way to often. I could recite the just-dropped items to you off by heart if you fancied? I think if I ever had to whip out a party trick then that’s what I’d do. Wild, I know. But surprisingly my latest skim of their cream of the crop is laden with repurchases – a true sign that I really, really do love something. And with a Cult Beauty birthday flash sale happening tonight (shhhhh! 15% off everything from 6pm tonight to 6am tomorrow) I thought this may give you some food for thought…

Xen-Tan Dark Lotion Absolute Luxemy one true tanning love. Recently I’ve found some competition for this stuff, but it still sits at the top in terms of all-round tanning goodness. A true sun kissed look that doesn’t look too dark despite the name that fades evenly without a patch in sight. This is my fifth (!?) bottle, I think. I’ve lost count.

Margaret Dabbs Intensive Hydrating Foot Lotion and Exfoliating Foot Moussethe at-home pedi powerhouses. I had both of these in mini try-me sizes, used ’em all up and now it’s time to upsize. The lotion does what it says on the tin and when left on overnight in the comfort of fluffy socks things are baby soft by the morning, but it’s the mousse that really rocks my socks. It’s packed with pumice and actually makes me laugh when I’m using it because it’s that ticklish. The end result is well worth tickling my own feet for though….well that’s a sentence I never thought I’d write.

Kevyn Aucoin The Creamy Glow Duo in Sculpting/Candlelightthe contouring wonders in cream form. I have been so intrigued to try this for the longest time. My favourite contour and highlighting duo in a blendable, buttery texture – I’m all over that. I’ve only given it a go a handful of times so can’t report back comprehensively yet, but so far so good. It’s pigmented enough to hold its own, but it goes on well with fingers and lasts a decent amount of time. Full school report coming soon.

Aesop Resurrection Hand Washbecause I was feeling fancy. There really was no excuse to put this in my basket, but after many times of adding it, then wimping out and removing it at the last minute it somehow stayed there and the checkout process continued. What can I blame it on? Period brain? Girlie maths? The fact that my apple crumble had just exploded in the oven and I was feeling emotional? Yeah we’ll go with that one.

Cult Beauty, 6pm tonight – be there or be square. I’ll be there. Stalking the ‘What’s New’ pages as usual…
