A Day In The Life: Fitness & Food

…all with a little Lululemon Haul thrown in

You know what’s really fun to do when you feel like your head is full of goo and a big elephant has got its feet clamped over your nose so that you can’t breathe? Vlog. Honestly, it’s amazing – you should try it sometime. Of course I’m guessing you can sense the sarcasm here and as you watch the video below please note my general weariness as on the particular day that I decided would be perfect to vlog, I woke up feeling pretty rough. That’s the beauty of keeping it real though, so I persisted, left my sick bed of empty Emergen-C sachets and tissues, and ploughed on with the fitness, food and general wellbeing themed vlog I’d planned. Oh the irony…

You know what? I actually felt a little bit better for it and I think it’s a more interesting way to share my current fitness routines and goals with you than just sitting down and rambling for 10 minutes. What do you think? Along with taking you to the gym with me and showing you a HIIT circuit routine (Paul was feeling nice that day), I also did a mini Lululemon haul and try-on with some new bits that I’ve picked up  and I showed you what I ate for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. It’s basically a bit of a ‘Workout Routine/Lululemon haul/What I Eat in a Day’ all wrapped up into one.

Speaking of goals, I’m actually really happy with where I’m at fitness-wise at the moment. I haven’t travelled much in the past few months and being at home and in a routine is something that I find conducive to visiting the gym regularly and not eating a whole pack of Jaffa Cakes because I’m starving and I’m in a rush. I have a bit more time to plan things out and I’ve been eating lots of home-cooked food (note to self: I must learn to bake Jaffa Cakes). Mark has even been coming to the gym with me a couple of times a week and we both really want to take up Hot Yoga too. Any tips or things I should know before we step into the sweat chamber? I’ve put it off for months because I’m worried I will faint/fart/do both, but hey – it would make a good blog post, right?

P.S) In this post I’m wearing the Lululemon Fast As Light Muscle Tank in Tiger Space, Lululemon Align Pants and I’m making a quick post-workout protein smoothie, all you need is a: a cup of whatever milk you fancy, a handful of raspberries and one scoop of the Welleco The Super Elixir Nourishing Protein in Vanilla.
